"Captain Jack Sparrow"
Captain is 3.5 year old appendix quarter horse, will be 4 in Aug. 2009.. He was foaled on August 11, 2005. We have had him since he was 1 month old. He is currently 15.1 hands and still growing. He is a gem. He is a chocolate and white overo paint with crystal blue eyes. His eyes have been passed and have no issues. He is sound and sane and a pocket pony.
He is currently being trained under saddle on the trails. He is forward and willing, yet calm and easy going. His mind is very sound and he can do anything you ask him to. He has done some jumping, but minimal to save his young legs. He is built like a tank and could be used for cutting, trails, penning, gaming, western, or any other type riding.
Captain was started slow in the round pen and was allowed to be a kid. He was young and full of life. I did not want to break that out of him. So he was allowed to buck and display his personality in the round pen. As the time approached to mount, he naturally accepted the idea of a rider and was never forced into the issue. Upon mounting the first time, Captain never bucked or even flinched. He was on the trails the very first time he was mounted. That is INCREDIBLE!
I do not WANT to sell Captain, but I am at a point where I would like to see him go with someone that will show him or continue his career in trails, penning, western pleasure, or whatever you desire. I simply don't have the time to take him and my others as far as I would like to see him go. This guy is flashy and really attracts attention. You will not regret buying this boy!

"Lucy"
Lucy is a great little sport pony. She is able and willing. She trail rides, jumps, rides english or western, and is more than willing to work. Lucy is short but stocky and can carry most adults. She would be a great alla round horse to use for shows, trails, and more.
